My highlight of the week was meeting a lovely new patient today who found me on YouTube/Instagram 👍

I absolutely love it when you all come by and visit after seeing one of my posts, it’s a real pleasure! I look forward to bringing you more useful health tips and videos 😄

Though they do say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, be sure to keep your fruit and veggie intake up but do pop in to see me in clinic when needed.

Experts recommend that we have at least 5 serves of vegetables and 2 serves of fruit a day! 🥔🌽🥕🥒🍅🍇🥝 Fruit & vegetables contain lots of fibre, vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants which all help to keep your body healthy and can protect against long term conditions such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes and stroke.

The recommended allowance is different for children and breastfeeding mothers, but you can find more information here: eatforhealth.gov.au

So when you’re out grocery shopping don’t forget to pick up that broccoli!
