Even Dr Nora needs a good dentist to help keep her pearly whites healthy, so you should too 😬

It’s dental health week and dentists recommend brushing your teeth for least two minutes in the morning and night using a soft bristled brush with a flexible neck.

It’s really important not to press too hard on your teeth as this can damage your gums and the coating around your teeth, otherwise known as enamel.

But did you know you should also be brushing your tongue? This helps to reduce the number of bacteria in the mouth and helps to keep the breath fresh.

And don’t forget to floss as this removes plaque from between your teeth helping to prevent gum disease.

65% of Australians haven’t seen the dentist in the last two years, don’t be part of the statistic and book your check up today, I’ve already had mine!

For more advice or if you have any concerns pop by and see me in clinic.

Take care and stay healthy x

Derma Medical - Cosmetic Training Courses

Earlier this year I went on a cosmetic training course, where I made my start in nonsurgical cosmetic treatments.

At the course I learnt 18 procedures utilising Anti-Wrinkle and Dermal fillers and got to practice on 34 live models (including my husband) which adds up to 5 clinics in practice.

The course was held at the Royal College of General Practitioners in London and ran by Derma Medical, who are a worldwide training centre of excellence in Aesthetic Medicine.

If you are interested in cosmetic training, I highly recommend Derma Medical, as now I currently provide these treatments at my clinic in the Gold Coast, Australia. Visit http://drnora.com for more details.
