It’s dental health week and dentists recommend brushing your teeth for least two minutes in the morning and night using a soft bristled brush with a flexible neck.
It’s really important not to press too hard on your teeth as this can damage your gums and the coating around your teeth, otherwise known as enamel.
But did you know you should also be brushing your tongue? This helps to reduce the number of bacteria in the mouth and helps to keep the breath fresh.
And don’t forget to floss as this removes plaque from between your teeth helping to prevent gum disease.
