Earlier this year I attended the Australasians Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons Anatomical Dissection in Sydney where cosmetic practitioners get hands-on live demonstrations of the use of fillers on cadavers and learn about facial anatomy. The course is spread over one day and consists of practical and theoretical knowledge. It costs around $1500. Is it worth it? Well watch on to find out.
I’ll also give you a run down of the hottest cosmetic trends of this year and some interesting pointers on why men become more attractive with age and unfortunately why women don’t.
Also discussing the use of tear trough fillers and what makes a good candidate and talk what happens when fillers need to be dissolved.
Take care and stay healthy 😘

Warning: any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
Do you suffer from sunken eyes otherwise known as tear troughs?
This area can be plumped up with the use of filler carefully placed around the eye.
For this procedure I like to use a cannula (a blunt needle tip) which has benefits over a using a needle as there are less entriy points to the face and therefore less sites of bruising, inflammation and discomfort.
Fillers in this area can be expected to last up to 18 months and helps gives a fresh and less tired appearance to the face.
If you would like to find out more pop by and see me in clinic.
