Severe Heat Warning ☀🔥☀ After the past week of intense flooding and rain, the skies are opening up to give us Queenslanders a hot end to summer. Temperatures are set to soar and the UV index will be hitting up to 14, so it’s time to get sun smart.
Be sure to slip on sun protective clothing, slop on sunblock spf 30+, slap on a broad brimmed hat, seek shade and slide on wrap around glasses.
And remember to stay out of the sun during peak times from 10am to 3pm to reduce your risk of sun exposure and skin cancer in the future.

Symptoms can be managed effectively with either an antihistamine, nasal sprays, nasal rinses or a combination. Be sure to avoid any triggers such as pollen which in Queensland can be all year round but reaches its peak from January to March.
