With school back in full swing, ask yourself, ‘am I driving safe?’ As a GP I unfortunately see a number of patients come in following road traffic accidents. Complications can range from whiplash to broken bones to paralysis.
Being road aware and driving safe can help to reduce your risk of such accidents. Make sure you always wear a seatbelt, are not distracted by your mobile or a passenger and drive a safe distance between cars. As it’s storm season try to plan your journeys to avoid any hail or wet weather ⛈
