With school back in full swing, ask yourself, ‘am I driving safe?’ As a GP I unfortunately see a number of patients come in following road traffic accidents. Complications can range from whiplash to broken bones to paralysis.
Being road aware and driving safe can help to reduce your risk of such accidents. Make sure you always wear a seatbelt, are not distracted by your mobile or a passenger and drive a safe distance between cars. As it’s storm season try to plan your journeys to avoid any hail or wet weather ⛈
What a fantastic day! I had the honour of being invited to speak at the @terrywhitechemmartpacpines diabetes workshop.
Not only did the attendees have access to a very knowledgeable dietician, @be.wellfed, we also went through the different types of diabetes, symptoms, how best to manage it and they had the chance to speak to the brilliant pharmacy team.
Thank you for everyone who came and I look forward to the next one!
If you have any concerns or questions about diabetes, feel free to pop by and see me in clinic.
