Had a great time teaching this week’s delegates at @dermamedicalaustralia foundation and advanced course in Brisbane.
My favorite part was when one of the delegates volunteered to get their cheeks injected after a no show from a model… You see learning can be rewarding 💉
We of course, also covered the top 18 cosmetic injectable procedures from anti-wrinkle treatment of the face, to cheek and lip fillers to treating hyperhidrosis (excess underarm sweating). I wish all the delegates the very best of luck in your future cosmetic careers.
Dermal fillers have vast and dynamic uses. Chin fillers can help to modify the shape of your lower face by giving more definition. They can also be used to transform chins to be more feminine or masculine as desired!
Stay tuned to watch my upcoming video on chin fillers for a more masculine and pronounced chin.
As always if you have any questions or would like to find out more, pop by and see me in clinic.

It’s the latest craze that has all the celebs signing up, from Kim Kardashian to Kylie Minogue. But what is it and how does it work?
The ‘Vampire facial’ uses Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), which has been around for almost 20 years. PRP is used in a number of medical conditions such as hair thinning, muscle and tendon injuries, knee pain from osteoarthritis and of course for cosmetic purposes including the vampire facial.
In our blood we have a number of different cells including red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Platelets contain clotting and growth factors which once activated, stimulate the inflammatory cascade and healing process.
Stay tuned for more treatment photos and videos.
