Doctor Storytime | Diabetes Workshop and How I Saved a Life
I just wanted to share you with a glimpse of my week, and how honoured I am to be a doctor helping the community!
Firstly, I had the pleasure of being invited to speak at the @terrywhitechemmartpacpines diabetes workshop.
Not only did the attendees have access to a very knowledgeable dietician, @be.wellfed, we also went through the different types of diabetes, symptoms, how best to manage it and they had the chance to speak to the brilliant pharmacy team.
And to top that off, at the end of the day I was shifting through my emails, and I received a message to call one of my patients… which turned out to be the most heartwarming conversation I’ve had this week.
I love my job, and for anyone out there who’s going through any hardship, just keep at it. It took me 5 years of hard study just get through Medical School, but I can tell you that the struggle is worth fighting through.
Smile it’s Friday! 😄🎉💃 It’s been such an amazing week filled with lots of cosmetic procedures, family planning, skin checks and much more. The biggest highlight was making a short promo video with the talented @jake_bass
Stay tuned for more photos and videos coming soon!
Volunteering for GC2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games | Ep. 2 Doctor Uniform
Just picked up my Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Doctor Uniform! The best thing about it, is that it features high UV protection. Which will be essential for those days on the field looking after athletes!
In case you didn’t know the Gold Coast Commonwealth games will be the largest sporting event Australia will see this decade! It’s taking place from 4th -15th April and will feature over 6,600 athletes from all over the world.
Merry Christmas 🎅 and What’s Working in Australia Like?
Wishing you all a very happy festive season! Join me as I give you a quick run down on life as a GP in Australia and receiving my RACGP fellowship certificate.
