Definitely not! Sea water contains a high amount of salt which means that if consumed, our body will have to work even harder to get rid of it. The kidneys would have to produce more urine until eventually we would become dehydrated leading to fatal consequences.
However, if you are stuck in the middle of the sea and don’t have access to fresh water, you could boil some sea water, capture the steam and condense it back into water so you’re effectively getting rid of the salt.

Selfies.. good or bad?📱 We’ve all taken one if not seen one at some point in our lives, but what’s the impact to our health? The selfie culture is an area that has been researched and studied extensively.
Some researchers believe that selfies can be empowering and display self-love or even be a self-esteem booster. However, when done too regularly there are some distinct adverse effects on our health.
The selfie culture has propagated an undue focus on the way we look and are perceived to others. It has also opened up avenues for comparison and self-evaluation and at times can cause bullying. Which, for vulnerable groups such as children, this can actually harm self-esteem and body image. Similarly, for those who put a high value on validation from others, may suffer also if they have not received the desired feedback. In extreme cases, we’re also seeing the rise of selfie deaths whereby photos have been taken in extreme situations.
Safe to say it’s always best to selfie in moderation as not only can they be addictive but they may also cause harm in excess.
