It’s so easy to get caught up in life’s chores, so this weekend I’m encouraging you to take a portion of your day to look after yourself and do something that you enjoy. This could be as easy as putting on make-up, going for a walk, dancing to your favourite song or reading a book.
By doing this, you’ll help to improve your energy, happiness and concentration amongst other great benefits.

With the weekend here spend some time looking after your joints. Take a simple walk around the block or perform a few stretches to help keep your muscles and joints supple and strong.
Heart disease is a major cause of health problems and death in Australia. The good news is, it’s often preventable. Here are my top tips to keep your heart ticking along nice and strong:
- Eat a healthy and balanced diet. Reduce consumption of foods that are high in saturated fats such as butter
- Exercise regularly after checking with your health provider. This could be a simple stroll on the beach or a brisk walk
- Stop smoking
- Cut down on alcohol
- Keep stress levels to a low and do activities that make you feel happy
- See you doctor regularly for a heart health check up.
