It’s so easy to fall into a downward spiral of negativity which can often be hard to break. This week I challenge you to make a note of one positive thing that you’ve achieved or have done. By doing this, it allows you the chance to reflect and commend yourself on your progress giving you more encouragement to continue.
My positive achievement today was that I took a long walk, what’s yours?
One of my favourite ways of relaxing is visiting the sea. Each time I go to the beach I always take 10 deep breaths. Not only does it allow me to fully expand my lungs with oxygen and the other great elements that sea air has to offer such as iodine and magnesium, but it also allows me to relax and unwind.
We’re so lucky to have such great amenities in Australia, so when you’re at the beach next time, why not give it a try.
This International Women’s Day, I had the pleasure of being invited to talk at the Multicultural Families Organisation event held at TAFE Queensland, helping to inspire and empower women with the ability to challenge negativity.
The day was a great success filled with beautiful performances by delegates from all over the world.
