This means even if you’re out doing your exercises or getting the groceries please maintain a distance of 1.5m from each other. By performing exercise for up to 30 minutes 5 days a week you are helping to reduce your risk of medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and musculoskeletal problems to name a few.

If you’re unsure where to start, taking a brisk walk whilst slowly increasing the distance is considered to be beneficial.

Try to incorporate muscle strengthening exercises such as light weights, lunges or squats as this keeps your muscles and bones strong and healthy.

We are fortunate to have access to free community gym machines with a world class view of the beach. So if you’re passing one by, give it a go. 💪

“Doc, how do I loose weight? 🤔” Is a question I hear all the time.

With summer just around the corner it’s time to get into shape.

From the Atkins diet to the South Beach diet, there are loads of ways to loose weight.

Many of these diets often cause a quick reduction in weight due to the loss of fluid in the body, rather than fat. The best and safest way to loose weight is with traditional exercise and eating healthy balanced meals.

Exercise can be fun and it’s suggested that you do at least 30 minutes of activity 5 times in a week to get your heart pumping. That could be anything from a brisk walk to kick boxing!
