Each week, I make a list of the things that I want to achieve. These are tasks that are realistic and can be done with a little motivation. This week I’m aiming to do muscle strengthening exercises on 5 out of 7 days. This includes, light weights, lunges or squats which help to keep muscles and bones strong and healthy.
By performing exercise for up to 30 minutes 5 days a week you are helping to reduce your risk of medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and musculoskeletal problems to name a few.
If you’re unsure where to start, taking a brisk walk whilst slowly increasing the distance is considered to be beneficial.
Try to incorporate muscle strengthening exercises such as light weights, lunges or squats as this keeps your muscles and bones strong and healthy.
We are fortunate to have access to free community gym machines with a world class view of the beach. So if you’re passing one by, give it a go. 💪
