This World Health Day is dedicated to celebrating the work of nurses and midwives around the world. 🌏
Throughout my career nurses and midwives have always played an integral part to looking after patients. Not only do they look after patients but they also look after us doctors too! Back when I was a junior doctor I had some fond memories of being bleeped by the nurses on a night shift to attend to patients and after seeing the patients, the friendly nursing staff would always offer me a cup of tea and a biscuit.
Thank you for your ongoing high quality of care and respect that you provide us all.
Just picked up my Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Uniform!
The best thing about it, is that it features high UV protection. Which will be essential for those days on the field looking after athletes!
In case you didn’t know the Gold Coast Commonwealth games will be the largest sporting event Australia will see this decade! It’s taking place from 4th -15th April and will feature over 6,600 athletes from all over the world.
If you’re out and about always wear sun protection and for more advice and health tips come and see me in clinic.
