It’s so easy to fall into a downward spiral of negativity which can often be hard to break. This week I challenge you to make a note of one positive thing that you’ve achieved or have done. By doing this, it allows you the chance to reflect and commend yourself on your progress giving you more encouragement to continue.
My positive achievement today was that I took a long walk, what’s yours?
Our French peers coined the term back in the 17th century to express the joy of life, from the seemingly mundane acts of eating breakfast to having a conversation with a companion.
Fast forward into the 21st century and how many of us feel the joy of having a good conversation with a friend? We are often so overwhelmed by the negativity that surrounds us, our thoughts are clouded to the extent that we are not able to appreciate the small things in life.
It’s time to put yourself first and that’s exactly why there’s a whole week to celebrate women’s health.
Whether you’ve been putting off that smear test or if you want to check if your periods are ‘normal’ or even a simple change of birth control or a cosmetic treatment now is the time to do so!
Make your health a priority today.
Pop by and see me in clinic if you have any questions or concerns.
Before the week passes us by, make the most of today. Each day is a gift, so be sure to start your day right with a good amount of sleep and a hearty breakfast. Set yourself goals that you want to achieve and allow time for exercise and relaxation. Most importantly try to stay positive, it’s so easy to fall into a spiral of negativity but as we know, this can be self-destructive and you may not achieve anything.
Are you passionate about your profession and put in the hours to be a boss? Then this post is dedicated to you.
