With school back in full swing, ask yourself, ‘am I driving safe?’ As a GP I unfortunately see a number of patients come in following road traffic accidents. Complications can range from whiplash to broken bones to paralysis.
Being road aware and driving safe can help to reduce your risk of such accidents. Make sure you always wear a seatbelt, are not distracted by your mobile or a passenger and drive a safe distance between cars. As it’s storm season try to plan your journeys to avoid any hail or wet weather ⛈
A lot can be achieved with dermal filler, a cannula and an artistic eye!
This lovely patient wanted to start her cosmetic journey by addressing her lower face lines. In the treatment I used a cannula (blunt plastic thin tube) to strategically place the filler along her lower face.
Cannulas reduce the number of injection entry points and so causes less bruising and is more comfortable.
This patient only had 1ml of filler but you can already see a big difference.
Needless to say, she’ll be back for more!

Did you know that type 2 diabetes can be potentially reversed?
When my patients stick to a strict healthy balanced diet and exercise program I’ve seen them naturally lower their sugar levels to a point where some of them no longer require the need for medication.
As you can imagine this is life changing and you can hopefully do the same too. Just always remember to stay on your medications, unless otherwise instructed by your medical practitioner.
For help and advice on how to do this or if you have any questions, feel free to pop by and see me in clinic.
